Why do I choose Aikido?

I choose to learn Aikido for many reasons. The main reason is because of my desire to learn a martial art which is unique and Aikido is different from all other martial arts. Besides its main function as an art of self-defence, the techniques which are taught can harmoniously be engaged with nature, and that is why it is named 'Aikido' which means harmony. Besides that, I can learn some new and simple Japanese words which I have never heard before...

When I heard about Aikido, I wanted to know about this martial art and learn it as I have never heard of this martial art before. With so many crimes happening nowadays, I decided to choose Aikido to help me to defend myself. Besides that, I can also learn about the culture and language of Japan.

The reason why I learn Aikido is to prepare myself with self defense technique in case of emergency. Lately, the world is not a safe place for us. Everyday, we can hear about people being kidnapped, raped and murdered. By learning martial arts like Aikido, we would be able to prepare ourself from any unwanted incident. We have to remember that we are exposed to many dangers everytime and everywhere. I don't want to just giveup before I get to defend myself if I'm attacked by some gangsters of kidnappers. Aikido techniques are very useful in this kind of situation.

I choose Aikido Yoshinkan Shudokan beacuse I think it's the best for me than another martial arts. Now, many women had been raped and murdered beacues they did not know how to protect themselves. So, from Aikido I can learn how to protect myself from rapists and bad people. From Aikido's technique I will learn to calm myself when it comes to danger. Aikido also can make myself more brave and disciplined in any situation.

I choose Aikido because I like Aikido's technique because it is so unique and interesting. I also like it because I do not use much energy to beat an enemy. Aikido is from Japan (Samurai). So if I learn Aikido technique, I can try and feel how samurai's fight. That is why I choose Aikido. I really enjoy learning Aikido. Among many martial arts, Aikido is the best.
